Water Cycle
Water Cycle
The basic definition for the word cycle is “a series of events that are regularly repeated in the same order.” Any classroom concept that has the word “cycle” in it gets me excited because I can (usually) make a game where the students are never “out.” This is very important to me. Physical education is about learning and exercise; if someone is waiting to play, they are not doing either. When students are out, they are not having fun. When they are playing, they have fun and learn.
In this water cycle game, students will experience what it is like to be water as it goes through evaporation, condensation, precipitation, collection, and infiltration. If you are teaching a lesson on the water cycle, this game is an excellent complement to the classroom curriculum.
