Photosynthesis

$3.00

Students are taught that plants make their own food through photosynthesis. When plants have sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide, they can make the sugar they need. However, if you ask the student how the plant does it, they don't know. They may say things like, "It just transforms." Students have also heard that plants are vital because they make oxygen. Every Earth Day, we hear the staggering statistics of the Amazon Rainforest being destroyed. We are told that the Amazon Rainforest is so crucial because it produces so much oxygen that we humans need. However, many students don't know how plants make oxygen though. This game aims to fix that. By playing this game, the students will physically see how water and carbon dioxide molecules become glucose, with oxygen molecules as the leftover byproduct.
