Hatching the Cosmic Egg
Hatching the Cosmic Egg
This companion lesson goes along with the book Hatching the Cosmic Egg by Michael Dorer. While it works best with the book, this lesson can work as a stand-alone that would fit within the Great Lessons. The lesson's theme deals primarily with the interaction of the following relationships: the universe, life, humans, mathematics, and language. I encourage you to have Hatching the Cosmic Egg in your lower elementary class. It is an excellent read-aloud book that fits nicely after the Great Lessons.
